  • Turn clockwise to close until you hear a click.
  • Don’t worry — after a few tries, it becomes easy.
  • Tip: Always supervise your dog with any new product. Decide at the end whether to leave it or remove it. After a few uses, you’ll know how to handle it safely.

🐾 Filling FeedMe with Food

  • Open the cover and fill the tube with the desired amount of food.
  • When closing, make sure you hear a click — this means the cover is locked.

🐾 Spinning the Ring

  • Hold the body of FeedMe firmly with one hand.
  • Twist the ring with your other hand.

🐾 Introducing FeedMe to Your Dog

  • Teaching your dog to use FeedMe is easy, but the introduction should be gradual and rewarding.
  • Start with the largest hole, the easiest setting. Repeat each step at least 5 times before moving to the next level.
  • Easy settings: larger holes for food to come out easily.
  • Harder settings: smaller holes, making your dog work a bit more.
  • Tip: Using very small kibble and a small hole can keep your dog occupied for up to 120 minutes. Average measured activity time is 55 minutes.
  • Additional tip: Be present during the first sessions and place FeedMe on the floor with enough room for your dog to move around.

🐾 The Five Steps of FeedMe

Tip: Recommendation: For dogs that eat very quickly, each step can be performed 10 times instead of 5.

Step 1:

  • Set the ring to the largest hole so that a few kibble pieces come out with each spin.
  • FeedMe has a built-in incline that always directs the food to the exit opening.
  • The first few times, the food may run out within 1–5 minutes, but don’t worry — your dog will stay occupied longer as you increase the level.

Step 2:

  • Repeat Step 1 up to 5 times to teach consistent and rewarding behavior.

Step 3:

  • Increase the level by 1, making sure the food comes out of the exit opening you selected.
  • Let your dog work at this level at least 5 times before increasing the difficulty, meaning one smaller hole.

Step 4:

  • Increase the level again, checking that the food comes out of the exit opening.
  • Repeat this action 5 times.

Step 5:

  • At this stage, you may reach a hole where not every spin releases food, but if you followed the instructions, your dog will continue to spin FeedMe because they know this action will be rewarded.
  • Very small kibble pieces provide high enrichment and engagement times.
  • Make sure the food comes out properly from the exit opening.

Additional Tip:

  • Teach all household members who feed the dog how to use FeedMe.

🐾 Safety, Use, and Care of FeedMe

  1. The product can be washed with lukewarm water and mild soap, or in a dishwasher. Do not use soluble chemicals or acids.
  2. FeedMe is resistant to normal heat and cold, including use in autoclaves and industrial washing machines.
  3. Do not leave the product in places where it could fall from dangerous heights, such as balconies or high shelves, to prevent accidents.
  4. Do not allow children to play with the product — it is not intended for that purpose.
  5. Important: Choose the hole size according to the size of the animal you are working with. For small dogs or cats — do not adjust the ring to a hole where there is a risk that their teeth or snout could enter the product. If anything is unclear about using the product, contact our customer service via the company website.

1) The dog is afraid of the product
Possible solution: Open both lids and place treats inside them that you know your dog enjoys, and also place treats inside the transparent body. After a few attempts, reassemble FeedMe.

If your dog is very fearful, start the training at a distance where they feel safe and comfortable. For each step closer to FeedMe, double the treats to encourage them.

Important Tip: It is recommended that your dog is hungry before using FeedMe, otherwise they may not engage with the product.

Once your dog gets used to it and is no longer hesitant, you can start using their regular food following the five-step method.

2) The product does not interest your dog.
Possible solution – Your dog may not be hungry or is used to getting their food from a bowl, so they do not approach the product. We recommend waiting until your dog is hungry and then presenting FeedMe. At first, you can also mix the food with treats to encourage your dog.

If your dog still does not use FeedMe, it usually means one thing: “I’m not hungry enough to work for my food, but I’d be happy to eat from my bowl out of boredom and maybe gain a little weight…”.

3) Your dog is getting overexcited with the product.
Possible solution – If you are patient and follow the instructions carefully, your dog will become calmer, happier, and more focused, and will be rewarded for using FeedMe.
The product encourages calm behavior more than unruly behavior. The change will occur as your dog learns to use the product and begins working with the harder levels.
FeedMe teaches your dog that rolling the product slowly releases more food, while rolling it quickly on the harder setting releases less food.

Important Tips

  • If you want your dog to stay occupied for a longer period, we recommend using smaller kibble and a higher difficulty level—that is, a smaller opening in the ring. Always make sure that kibble is coming out.
  • Be aware that when FeedMe is on the hardest setting, food will not come out with every roll. Don’t worry, this is normal. If you follow the instructions, your dog will stay engaged with FeedMe for a long time. Just ensure that kibble is actually coming out.
  • If your dog shows signs of impatience while using a harder setting, you can reduce the level to an easier one and give FeedMe 10 times at that level before increasing it again. When we recommend giving 5 or 10 repetitions at the same difficulty level, this does not mean consecutively in a row—space them out over multiple sessions.
  • When using the five-step method, you can increase the difficulty by multiple levels at once, depending on your dog.
  • These behavioral instructions apply to all animals, not just dogs.
